I hate moving, and especially that period when everything is in disarray. My strategy (one that I think is easier for one person) is to pick one room (usually my bedroom) and get it completely in order, including pictures hung on the wall. Then, we I am overwhelmed by the amount of unpacking still to be done and the general level of chaos in the house, I retreat to that island of calm for a little break. It will be a pleasure to get out into the new garden and start planning and planting (and picking out that new tree in a pot that wouldn't have to be left behind). -JeanAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5697737974013665829.post-6381564672552943612013-03-26T08:24:48.405-07:002013-03-26T08:24:48.405-07:00Chad, I'm with you, brother.Chad, I'm with you, brother.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5697737974013665829.post-58778226416074739602013-03-24T12:44:52.139-07:002013-03-24T12:44:52.139-07:00tell her the house and hopfully the tree will live...tell her the house and hopfully the tree will live on to remind her os her time there and that will be the same when she leaves home...what a great story!sharonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02529895941009940357noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5697737974013665829.post-89072026642965701482013-03-23T23:01:38.554-07:002013-03-23T23:01:38.554-07:00I second Toni's comment. Change and saying goodbye is so difficult but we always have our memories to comfort us, too.

Congratulations on your new home and hopefully you'll be all settled in and gardening again very soon.Karenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18368318730124533690noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5697737974013665829.post-15441529145833748312013-03-23T21:27:43.845-07:002013-03-23T21:27:43.845-07:00Oh, my goodness, what a touching story. Surely if they read this story, they'd go dig it for your daughter. Best wishes at your new digs. Can't wait to see the garden opportunities there and the new tree you get for your little girl.Toni - Signature Gardenshttp://signaturegardens.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.com
